A note on Chapter 8. Ninth-grade students skip Chapter 8 and move from Chapter 7 straight to Chapter 9. Mr. Mays explains this at the end of Lesson 25: the material is more advanced and the year’s pace does not allow for it. Students taking the course in a higher grade do cover Chapter 8.
